He sleeps!

It has been a week full of firsts for our family. Evan decided on Sunday night to only wake up once and then on Monday night he slept straight from 10 - 6:15!!! Amazing! Unfortunately, he didn't inform me that he was going from getting up 3 times a night to sleeping straight through, so I was up by habit checking on him throughout the night! Wednesday and Friday night he also slept from 9ish until 6ish, which is truly wonderful. Hurrah!!!

His first tooth is almost up all of the way and we suspect another will be poking through in the next couple of days due to copious amounts of drool. :)

Another amazing event happened on Wednesday night when we all sat down for dinner and we actually got to.... finish eating!!!! That is right, Mike and I ate a lovely spaghetti dinner with a salad and garlic bread and when we were done Evan was still happily sitting in his highchair.

Wow.

So it has truly been a wonderful week for us. Evan has also starting napping all of a sudden, and is now taking at least one hour long nap a day. Somebody pinch me!!! :) He continues to love to "walk" and is now saying "dada" all of the time (although everything is "dada" so Mike can't yet take credit. :) ).

Here he is sitting on his car. (A neighbor gave us this toy in exchange for borrowing some of Mike's tools. It is pretty cool but Evan is a bit tall for it, which made us laugh.)
