8 Months!

Evan turned 8 months old this past week and he seems to be getting bigger and doing more each day. Just over the past few days, he has been able to pull himself up from sitting and get into a sitting position from laying down. Although he still prefers "walking" while holding onto someone's hand, he is starting to scoot around a bit on his belly. He also loves feeding himself and can get puffs (which are like cheerios) in his mouth about every other time. He's great with a sippy cup although he likes to shower himself (and others) every so often.
He also got his second tooth in which (we think) has caused him to revert to waking up 2 or 3 times a night again. Atleast we got a few days of sleep in. :)
With the warm weather we've been hanging out at the lake fairly often. Here are a few recent pictures:



Evan loves to talk and and he loves music. Often he joins in at the end of the song in a very deep voice, which cracks me up. Although we haven't been able to decipher his words all of the time, he often says dada around Mike, he has said "bitty" a few times around the kitties, and he said papa to Grandpa Z (who decided he liked the name and it will stick).
