Time with Ida Jane

We were so lucky to have cousin Ida Jane in to visit us over the fourth of July. Evan loved watching her play and was amazed at her crawling ability. Often he would "walk" over next to her and just look at her to see what she was up to!
Evan is getting really good at "walking" and can go across yards now fairly quickly while holding onto my fingers. I have had this week off and I am really enjoying spending time at the lake with Evan and family. We also had a nice family picnic at the Beckers where Evan loved swinging with his Aunt Andrea. Evan had a wonderful fourth of July with his family, thanks to all who could make it! Now that I know it is no longer a surprise, we want to thank cousin Sonya for flying all the way from China to attend the festivities!!! We had such a great time with her and Evan sat on her lap to watch the Angola fireworks over Lake James. (He loved the colors and noises of the fireworks and did not fuss or cry once! What a guy! :))
