6 Months Old!

Hard to believe, but Evan turned 6 months old this week! I can't believe he's on his way to being one!!!

We just got back from the doctor's office where he received 2 vaccinations instead of the normal 4. (Since they seem to make him sick, he's on a delayed schedule and will be taking a little longer to get them all done!) He did well at the doctors and showed off by "walking" around (holding my fingers of course) and laughing with the nurses. He also enjoyed seeing the other little babies at the doctor's office as he loves watching other babies and little kids play. Evan has also starting to enjoy sitting as opposed to just standing all of the time and actually can sit in his boppy and play pretty good by himself for 10 minutes or so!!!
The doctor says he is doing great and developmentally (brag alert) he is at the top of the chart. He is very strong and tries to grab at everything in his reach. He also got weighed and he is a mighty 20 pounds 1 ounce (85th percentile) and is 28 inches tall (90th percentile). His head circumfrence is 85th percentile as well. He's been hanging out in the taller range since birth so the doctor is thinking that he picked up Mike's height gene (hurrah!)
Sorry for the lack of pictures but since Evan got his shots I'm not going to bother him with a camera for a few days.
