Hayley's Ankle

Hayley fractured a bone in her ankle the night before Halloween.  She has been a complete trooper about it so far.  The first few weeks went by fairly easily, as she was noticed by the Principal, got treats from her friends, flowers from Nana and Papa, treats from the Clarks, cards from Aunt Kathy and all of the grandparents.  People were asking her what happened and generally she had a good story to tell.  However, recently it's sometimes more frustrating as the newness has worn off and the irritation of not being able to run around with her brothers or play like she would like at recess is starting to add up.

We do have another doctor's appointment with xrays next week (3rd round) and we were told that it just needs time.  Thanks to everyone for their well wishes and keeping her in your thoughts!  We are hanging in and hopefully we will see the light in a few more weeks!
