This spring I coached the kindergarten math pentathalon team of about 15 kids. It was a lot of work ( it took a few practices and a lot of stickers to get the kids to stay in their seats let alone learn the math games!) but it was rewarding and fun to spend time with Evan and his friends. The kids did far better than I expected at today's final tournament, picking up quite a few awards.
Hayley is writing out her name and is starting to write other words. Her teacher says she is great at her letters and numbers. We also got to take the school bunny home recently and Hayley enjoyed integrating him with our guinea pigs!
Logan is starting to say short sentences and his vocabulary is growing tremendously! Things he's recently saying include "Logan's turn" (expected from the third child, he is incredibly patient for a two year old!), "love you mama" (he loves giving face smashing kisses), "tank you" and "bless you", and I finally figured out that he calls Hayley "see". (All other names he can say perfectly!)

Thanks for the latest news. Congratulations to Evan and to Sarah for completing the math competition. Hayley's lettering is looking great. Logan looks like he's also enjoying the guinea pigs. Love you lots, Nana and Papa
