Trick or treat ?

The great state that we are, we sent power workers East to help out with Hurricane Sandy. Thankfully, the only issues we experienced here were extraordinarily high winds. unfortunately these winds knocked down a power line causing a fire across the street and a blackout which spanned two nights at our house. This is why the majority of our Halloween pictures are dimly lit! As the temps dropped to near freezing we used our fireplace (did not seem that helpful) and put the kids in their footy pjs. We drove to a subdivision with power to trick or treat which worked surprisingly well considering as the kids got tired they jumped in the car with Mike. Hayley was first to claim she was tired, after about 10 houses, and Evan lasted about 45 minutes before it started to lightly rain. Surprisingly, Logan lasted as long as Evan and walked the entire time. He even attempted to say trick or treat as he was given the basket of candy to chose from. The cute baby factor landed us quite a lot of loot!
