Fall Fun

Sorry for the lack of posts, I can't believe it's been a month since I posted pictures! Work and the kids have kept us pretty busy lately and now that Mike's attending college full time at night there's not a lot of free time (adding another addition to the family in a few months will make it even more interesting!!!)

Mike is doing great at University of Michigan up in Flint and Evan loves attending pre-school a few days a week. I can't believe how much Evan is learning there - he can say all of his colors in Spanish, spell his name (and write it with guidance), and he does cool mathy graphs (which I love!) and fun crafts, recess, library and music class every day. I wish I was in preschool!!!! Here are some pictures of his school activities:

Hayley's language skills are really developing now. She can repeat almost any word her brother says (which is usually a good thing) and is starting to group words together. With her new command of the english language, her personality is starting to show. She is certainly not shy as she tells everyone she sees "Hi" and "Goodbye" and will tell us all "C'MON!!!" when she is ready to go somewhere. She calls Evan "Ernie" which is pretty cute and Evan doesn't mind. I'm glad to see her assertiveness develop especially since she will soon be our middle child. She is truly a "Joy" as she is usually happy, dancing around, and for her age is really good at sharing with her brother.

The pregnancy continues to go well as I believe I have just entered the third trimester. Next week I meet with a midwife to determine if I can deliver at the birthing center where Evan was born. As long as there are no complications and I don't deliver before Christmas, I should be clear to attend the birthing center, which I liked a lot better than the regular hospital.

Hope everyone is doing well!
