Week of firsts.....

Evan had a lot of firsts this week. Unfortunately, he picked up his first stuffy nose during the holidays :( but the doctor assured us he is fine and it appears to be clearing up. At his doctor's appointment he weighed 10 pounds and 7 ounces and is 22 3/4 inches long! Because he is getting pretty long we put him in his first 3-6 month outfit this week! (He was starting to stretch the 0-3 month ones!)

He also slept for 5 hours in a row for the first night this week! Hurrah! That would have been my favorite "first" but he's also consistently smiling (responding to my smiles) this week which is so adorable!

As it was 55 degrees and partly sunny yesterday, I also took him for his first stroller ride around the block with my neighbor (who has a little boy who will be in Evan's class when they start school!) Here's a pic of bundled up Evan, me, and Kathleen ready for our adventure:
