Like always, the month of June has come and gone so fast!
We've enjoyed a new swingset our neighbors had outgrown, spending time at the lake, seeing our cousins, and just hanging out at home.
Evan is so incredibly helpful with the younger two and can now make his own breakfast in the morning (mini-wheats is his favorite.) This month he tried new foods (which is huge for him) including tacos and hot dogs. He also went sailing with papa for the first time and is starting to adventure a bit in the water (only on rafts for now!) He also had a great time at pre-school and was sad for summer break to start!
Hayley is starting to use long sentences and on her way to being potty trained. She can now pedal a tricycle (see video), loves to swing, and loves going outside. The other day she asked Mike, me, Evan, and then Logan if she could go play outside. Then she stood at the door and told me "I'm going outside, Baby Logan said it was ok."
Logan had a doctor's appointment at 5 months and was 95th! percentile in height and 75th in weight. The doctor said that it is very likely he will be around Mike's height. Logan is not fussy at all - he loves watching the kids and sometimes I forget that I am holding him as he never makes a peep and just watches all of the action. He can now roll over, hold items in his hand, and he laughs and smiles a lot. He will 'talk' when the kids go to bed but he is very happy observing them play and I can tell he can't wait to get in the action.
In addition, it is Mike and my 10 year anniversary today! We have babysitters lined up for time for us to go out for the first time since Logan was born.
