More birthdays!

I think it's possible Ive had too much cake!!! We just celebrated Mike's 31st and today was my 31st and Hayley's official 1st is on Friday. Although I have to say that today was MUCH more pleasant than last year's birthday when I was having contractions all through the night. It's much easier to have a one-year old than to be 9 months pregnant in my opinion!
The kids are all good. Hayley has more teeth and sleeps well when she isn't teething (which is probably half of the time.) In very big news, she took her first few steps this last week. She can walk probably 6-7 steps right now and is constantly trying to walk further. Evan also had some big developments as he has now given up napping completely. He still "rests" for an hour or so in the afternoon but I afraid his napping days might be over. He's always had a ton of energy, though, so no naps helps him sleep a bit better at night.

This one is of Evan on a birthday present we got for Hayley from Great-Grandmama and Great-Granddad. Evan enjoys opening all of her presents and notes that Hayley "will share with me" when I tell him it is hers. Luckily, she's pretty happy playing with the boxes her presents come in!
