Family Update and Our New House!

Hayley is sitting up by herself, took her first bath in the big tub last night, can stand briefly while holding onto furniture by herself, and is trying to "pull-up" into standing position. She's ready to be mobile so she can keep up with Evan! She can scoot across the floor to get to the other side of the living room so it won't be long until she's crawling! (FYI - she's in Christmas PJs below because she gets a ton of great hand-me-downs from her cousins. However, she always seems to be about a holiday ahead. Perhaps being a few sizes ahead is due to her older brother who keeps slipping her his leftover food.... lucky for her he doesn't like chocolate cake!)






Evan loves his preschool and so do we as he gets to run around, paint and draw, and play with all of the other kids in his class. He's generally pretty tired and happy when he gets home. He was also lucky enough to go to "Boo at the Zoo" with Nana this week and they had a fabulous time (you can tell by the great pictures!)










We also spent some time recently with cousins Ida and Harper along with seeing great Grandmama and Granddad and aunt Barb and uncle Jim. Evan and Hayley had a great time seeing everyone!











And last but certainly not least..... we bought a new house!!!It's a great time in our area to upgrade and with prices low we could get into the really good school district I wanted for the kids.
We've been looking for awhile and were able to find an absolutely steal: almost an acre of land, in the school district I wanted, on a cul-de-sac, and it has an open kitchen leading to a huge living room for the kids to play in. (Personally, though, the thing I am looking forward to the most, is having my very own bathroom!!!) We move in around Thanksgiving and I'll post better pictures once we get in (the ones below, are of the other people's stuff, but just to give you an idea.) Of course, now our current house has to still sell, so keep your fingers crossed for us that all goes smoothly on that end!
