15 Month Stats

Evan had his 15 month doctor appointment on Friday and they were very pleased with his progress. He weighed in at 26 pounds and was 32 inches tall, which was 75th percentile for both weight and height (perfectly proportioned!) He was 80th percentile for his head size (19 1/8 inches). The doctor did notice he has an independent streak for his age (wanting to feed himself, taking off his own shoes and socks by himself) and was also impressed with his fine motor skills.

As Mike and I have not used any CIO ("Cry It Out") methods for sleeping, we were also happy this past month as Evan has started to consistently sleep through the night on his own. The week of the 18th, he slept every night (Monday - Thursday) through the night (9pm-7am) and he is also currently on a four day through the night streak. 15 months was certainly a long time to go without a full night's sleep, but I wouldn't have done it any other way. Keep your fingers crossed that this is not just a fad!
