Train time

As you all know, Evan turns 1 year old soon. Since his birthday is fairly close to Christmas, Mike and I recently completed shopping for both the events. While we were at Toys R Us, we decided to also get a train for under our christmas tree. (I think Mike has been dreaming about getting a train set since Evan was born!) I don't think I have ever seen both Mike and Evan so entertained for so long!!! I took a few pictures:

Evan also helped me wrap a few of his birthday presents (I think he was more into the big bird wrapping paper... :) ).


Evan continues to tentatively walk a few steps every day. He walks back and forth between dada and he also walked to nana this week while she was babysitting. In other exciting firsts, papa babysat for the first time by himself this week as nana had a yoga class.
We also went to our third story time class this week at the library. Evan loves the stories and songs we sing there. He is still a bit shy when it comes to large groups of adults (and still is very much a mama's boy!) but he loves hanging out with the other kids.
