We chose to attend the D.C. seminar because, obviously, we could then see my adorable niece Ida Jane! Yay! Mike and I drove from our hotel to see her and her parents on Thursday and it took us over an hour to drive less than 20 miles! It made us very thankful that we live in a lower populated area! Of course, the trip was so worth it! Here are a plethora of pictures for your viewing enjoyment:

Evan also LOVED the hotel we stayed at. It was very big with huge glass elevators running up the center. The hotel had waterfalls, a big pool, and lots of people (we think we counted three different languages!) Evan never fussed the entire time we were there as he had way too much to absorb!

loved the videos, Evan really looks like his daddy, but you can tell Evan and Ida Jane are cousins; the Gerber genes are strong. Congratulations, Sarah, it's quite an achievement...your fellowship and Evan. Take care.
